Product number:

Collecting lens with a particularly fine groove spacing of only 0.5 mm, therefore very good magnifying image.
Fresnel lenses (“leaf magnifiers”) are strong like solid lenses, but light and flat like paper. In 1821 the French physicist A. L. Fresnel invented a completely flat lens. Its surface is provided with concentric prismatic grooves which ensure the collection or diffusion of light. Its stunning optical effect exerts a strong fascination. Today they are used, for example, in spotlights and lighthouses.
