Chinese bottom-filling porcelain teapot

It is a wine (tea) pot that is filled through a small opening at the bottom. Inside, a tube leads to the top. When you turn the pot over again, no liquid should run out at the bottom. The spout is placed relatively high up.

The Kann was found in 1968 near Binxian in Shaanxi province and is now on display in the Museum of History in Xian. It is a particularly fine example of the so-called Yaozhou ware. In the western world this product is called “celadon” because of its olive-green glaze. About 18 cm high, 13.5 cm wide.
