Mini Compass
This fully-fledged miniature magnetic compass is no larger than a 10 cent coin and yet it is a direction indicator suitable for everyday use:
The easy-to-read rosette is aligned to the earth’s local magnetic field. It has a cross-shaped perforation and thus provides a view of the bottom of the housing with a north marking. Even simple bearings and rough angle determinations are possible. The mini-compass has a fully encapsulated plastic housing and is therefore very hard-wearing.
