Reversal Goggles - AstroMedia
The image that the eye lens casts onto our retina is upside down. Leonardo da Vinci discovered this 500 years ago. But how is it that we still see a "correct", upright image? With the inversion glasses you can investigate this question.
What is vision anyway? The American psychologist George Stratton was also working on a scientific answer to this question when he experimented with inversion prisms for the first time in 1896. He wanted to know whether the visual process could adapt to the upside-down image in such a way that the world would look "normal" again to the observer.
With the inversion glasses, you can find an answer yourself.
