The craft model shows the temple as it might have once looked with figures.

The small compact round temple is one of the oldest places of worship in the Roman Forum. The temple was dedicated to
Vesta , the goddess of the house and the hearth fire of the city of Rome.

The sacred fire always burning there was guarded and protected by six or seven priestesses , the Vestal Virgins. Not to let the fire go out was a great responsibility, because in this case it was considered a bad omen for the city of Rome.
