Sun Dials 2 - AstroMedia
Two other sundial variants in the AstroMedia portfolio also make it easy to get started in the diverse world of sundials: Sundials II combine a classic horizontal clock and a summer-winter sundial.
Morning and evening, summer and winter
The classic horizontal clock works with a foldable shadow triangle. It can also display the solar time in the early morning as well as in the late evening hours. The summer-winter sundial has a double dial that shows the hour on the upper or lower side depending on the season (equatorial sundial).
Both clocks are suitable for all Central European latitudes.
For teachers and pupils
Sundials II are easy to build and are excellent material for teaching at secondary schools. Like all other astro materials, they can of course also be used for other group and project work on astronomy and physics.
