Our AstroMedia eclipse glasses use the millionfold proven AstroSolarTM Silver/Gold foil (made in Germany) by Baader-Planetarium, which reduces the sunlight by 99.999%. It offers 100% UV and IR protection, allowing you to look directly into the sun.
The year of manufacture of our glasses is 2017. Even if the recommended storage time of 2 years has thus been exceeded: The cartons used have retained their adhesive strength and our glasses are still perfectly suitable and absolutely functional. The films used do not age. By purchasing the glasses, you confirm that you have taken note of this.
