Drinking has to be learned: The Pythagorean Cup - also known as the Cup of Moderation or Tantalus Cup - is a drinking vessel that compels the user to drink moderately.
Due to its ingenious design, the cup can only be filled to a certain height. This allows the modest user to enjoy his drink in peace. If, however, he is greedy and pours himself to above the fill line, the entire contents empty onto the drinker's lap.
