The Liliput folding binoculars - AstroMedia
Here, the name says it all: according to the Guinness Book of Records, they are the smallest binoculars in the world.
Small but mighty
When folded, the Liliput folding binoculars are only half the size of a bank card and half as flat as a standard eraser. Nevertheless, they are fully functional binoculars that are especially useful when travelling. The sharpness of the upright, double-magnified image is adjusted with a clever cardboard spring.
For teachers and pupils
The Liliput folding binoculars are easy to construct and are ideal as teaching material at secondary schools. Like all other astro materials, they can also be used for other group and project work on astronomy and physics.
