Red light for clear vision
Why is our mini torch the perfect companion for the night? Anyone who has ever turned on the light at night will know: at first, you are blinded and cannot see anything. When you turn the light off again, it takes quite a while for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. Our vision is impaired once more.This is due to rhodopsin, a pigment that the eye produces in darkness and which greatly increases the eye's sensitivity to light. White light breaks down the pigment within a very short time, greatly reducing light sensitivity – hence the feeling of being almost blind.
Red light, on the other hand, has no effect on rhodopsin. Our rechargeable mini torch with red LED is a faithful companion for all stargazers – making it easy to find your way in the dark without impairing your vision.
