Measuring 10 x 11.5 cm, this is probably the smallest rotating star chart in the world, and certainly the only one you can build yourself. Nevertheless, its disc shows not only 524 stars but also all the constellations visible in our sky as well as the Milky Way, the celestial equator and the ecliptic.
Very practical for star lovers who don't always have a large star chart or one of our starry sky domes with them and want to be informed with one reach into their pocket. The operation is very simple: You only have to set the desired date and time by turning the disc. Then you can immediately see in the oval section which constellation is currently visible in the sky, and also over which point of the horizon it lies, for any time between 5 pm and 7 am. This is faster than with any app!
The assembly is quick and uncomplicated: Cut out the 5 cardboard parts and glue them together -
it's ready in less than 20 minutes.
