Sunspots and solar eclipse
The sunglasses are ideally suited for observing the sun. Even though there are at least two solar eclipses every year, the total and annular solar eclipses are rarely seen. But observing the sun is also exciting outside of these special events, partly because of its sunspots. They are always surprisingly numerous and relatively large. Reliable protection
The kit comes with the same filter that is used in our million-selling AstroMedia sunglasses. It reduces the light intensity by 99.999% and thus reliably protects the eyes when looking at the sun.
Attention! Never look directly into the sun! This can permanently damage the eye.
For teachers and pupils
The sun-vision goggles are easy to construct and are ideal material for teaching at secondary schools. Like all other astro materials, they can also be used for other group and project work on astronomy and physics.
