Scarabs, the sacred pill-bearers of Egypt made of black basalt stone

The scarab beetle was regarded by the Egyptians as a symbol of the sun god because of the way it lived. It was believed that the young beetles emerged from the ball of dung that the mother beetle rolled with its legs. The scarab became the most popular signet amulet of all and is used today as a lucky charm.

Product information "black scarab"
In ancient Egypt, the sacred scarab was regarded as a protective and lucky charm. It was made thousands of times and in many different forms; size and inscription depended on the respective use. This is still the case today, the little beetle is still worn as a popular piece of jewellery. The classic good luck charm is a nice object to display in class or makes a good small gift. Each scarab is handmade, has hieroglyphic characters on its underside and is covered in faience, which gives it its turquoise hue.
