Tempera colours convince by their natural colour fastness and a concentrated, viscous quality. They can be easily diluted with a little water and are very productive.With a pack of 6 you can paint a good 20 papyri - A3 format!
Tempera paints are paints in which the colour pigments are bound with a binder consisting of a water-oil emulsion, whereby the watery part of the emulsion can also contain glues.
The colours can be stored for a long time if they are well sealed.
Besides papyrus, they are also suitable for plaster or wood painting.
Can be easily washed out of clothes.
