The Newtonian reflector telescope
Fully functional Newtonian reflector telescope with Dobsonian mount. The heart of the telescope is the main mirror, a spherical precision mirror made of ground and polished glass with a diameter of 70 mm and a focal length of 450 mm. Two eyepieces with lenses made of high-quality acrylic glass provide 16x and 30x magnification and enable the viewing of lunar craters and, with careful adjustment of the main mirror, also of Jupiter's moons. The solar filter attachment
Cardboard kit for a clip-on filter that allows direct viewing of the solar disk with the Newtonian reflector telescope. Thanks to the attachment and the matching filter, the observation of sunspots, for example, is also possible without hesitation. The filter made of double aluminised, CE-approved Baader AstroSolarTM film with a filter factor of 1:100,000 (opt. density 5) has proven itself a million times over during solar eclipses and offers optimal safety for the eye.
