AstroMedia Transmitted light diffraction grating made of transparent film with a sheet size of 15 x 30 cm (6 x 12 inches) and 1,000 lines per millimetre.
The high density of 1,000 lines per millimetre produces a broad colour spectrum of the viewed or projected light source, similar to a prism. The same grating is also used in the handheld spectroscope.
The film is also available here in a smaller format 15 x 3.8 cm together with 4 slide frames for cutting out - 407.NDI.
